1° System

Take your right hand (take the left if you are left-handed).

Take a tape measure, one used for sewing, and wrap it around in the palm of your hand.

Fold the hand and notice the resulting length.

Compare the measurement obtained with the picture below.

2° System

Take your right hand (take the left if you are left-handed).

Take a tape measure, one used for sewing and measure the length of the middle finger.

Take the same hand and measure the length of the middle finger including the nail.

Compare the measurement obtained with the picture below.

IMPORTANT : The two measurements should give a similar result. In case of difference in outcome choose the 2° system.
